Ripping Revolution™ has strategic alliances with market leaders in various levels of the digital arena which enhance every part of the digital conversion process:
1. Music Database Content
2. Audio server manufacturers
Music Database Content
When your music is converted, it is important to understand that it is not just the song that is important. Every digital song has metadata that is ‘attached’ to it. Metadata provides valuable information that enhances your digital experience such as: song title, artist, album, year, and genre to name a few.
Without this information, you would have hundreds if not thousands of songs referred to as: Track1, Track489, and Track3874 with no other data to help you find your music or display it as feedback on your iPod or a touchpanel.
Metadata is accessed 2 ways:
1. From public databases that is based off of user input which opens up the possibility for spelling and grammatical errors and proper capitalization as examples.
2. From proprietary databases that ensure accurate metadata based off of content creation and responsibility of the results.

To avoid the inconsistent and poorly formatted results from public databases Ripping Revolution™ has chosen to partner with Get Digital Data and use their professional GD3 database providing rich metadata for our customers. Get Digital Data is also a founding member of the MediaPro Alliance.
